At Garner, giving back isn’t just something we do—it’s part of who we are. Our commitment to supporting the local communities we serve goes beyond business; it’s personal. We know that our success is built on the support of these communities, and we take pride in giving back to the communities that our drivers and employees call home.

One way we make a difference is through the Garner Donations Committee. This dedicated group works hard to ensure our charitable efforts have the greatest impact. In 2024 alone, we proudly donated over $15,000 to nearly 30 organizations, supporting causes such as Habitat for Humanity, Children’s Mentoring Connection, Hope House, Tim Tebow Foundation: Night to Shine, Blanchard Valley Center Special Olympics, Hancock County, and the YMCA of Hancock County. These contributions reflect our deep commitment to helping those who need it most.
Giving back isn’t just about money—it’s about connection. Whether it’s through volunteering, supporting local events, or simply showing up when we’re needed, we believe in being there for our communities. These efforts help strengthen the bonds that unite us and make a lasting difference in people’s lives.

The committee, which includes drivers Rich Robinson, Brian Wildman, and Andy Narine, along with office staff Tim Chrulski, Barb Zimmerman, and Matt Ibarra, meets monthly to carefully evaluate donation requests. Their thoughtful approach ensures that each dollar goes to causes that align with our values and have a meaningful impact.

We also encourage our drivers to get involved in shaping our giving efforts. If there’s a cause that matters to you, we want to hear about it. Garner is driving change through its commitment to giving back to local communities and your input helps us focus on what truly counts. Reach out to HR@garnertrucking.com with your ideas and contact Barb Zimmerman with any questions. Because at Garner, if it matters to you, it matters to us.
